Completion of this New York DMV-approved Point and Insurance Reduction Program (PIRP/IPIRP/Defensive Driving Course) provides a 10% reduction, for 3 years, of the motorist's liability, no-fault and collision insurance premiums. Point reduction benefits can be applied once within 18 months and reduce as many as 4 points from record. Reduced points remain on the driving record but are not counted by NYS DMV against the license. Point reduction does not remove, delete, subtract or erase violations, convictions or points, or prevent or cancel a mandatory revocation or suspension for violations such as DWI, DWAI or three speeding violations within 18 months.

The entire course is available 100% ONLINE.
You can work at your own pace and there is NO CLASSROOM REQUIRED.
There are NO HIDDEN FEES with our program.

Your course fee covers the course, issuance of your completion certificate and the automatic, electronic reporting of your successful completion of the course to the New York DMV.

Drivers Skills Diminish!

I have been driving in this area since the 60's and I have seen the deterioration of drivers skills. The major drop off has been in the last 5 to 10 years with the introduction of SUV's and an increasing number of drivers on the road.

It is thought that 10 to 15% of drivers on Friday Night are legally drunk.

We have better sound systems and the cars are more sound proof so that many kids won't even hear emergency vehicles.

We need to be even more careful than before. The problem is that the good drivers are at the mercy of the bad ones unless they are very prepared.

That is where this course comes into play. I will make you understand the concept that driving is to get somewhere and this course will help you get there safer!

Changing Driving conditions

So Winter and snow is upon us.
Will we drive slower?
Will we drive more carefully?
Some will...some won't.
Some will be more careful at the start of bad weather and then get used to it.

What is it that makes us go so fast on snow covered roads?
What is the rush?

Come to our next class to find these exciting answers!!
